WESAF PAINT AND GASKET REMOVER

WESAF Paint & Gasket Remover Spray is a highly effective solvent-based aerosol cleaner and remover manufactured by Zenith Spray & Aerosols Private Limited. It is specially formulated for maintenance applications where old gasket cement, sealants, adhesives, paint films, varnishes, grease, tape residues and stubborn carbon deposits need to be removed efficiently.

Its low surface tension provides excellent penetration, allowing the solvent to work effectively on difficult deposits and providing strong dissolving and degreasing performance. The product is chemically stable, non-staining and non-corrosive to metals, making it particularly useful for metal components before repair, maintenance, overhaul or refinishing work.

The convenient aerosol format makes WESAF Paint & Gasket Remover easy to apply. Simply shake the can well, spray liberally from approximately 8–10 inches from the surface and allow the solvent to penetrate the deposit. Softening generally begins within 3–10 minutes, while blistering may occur in approximately 10–20 minutes, depending on the material and deposit. The softened or blistered residue can then be removed using a wooden knife or wet scraper.

Directions for Use

Shake the aerosol can thoroughly before use. Apply only in an adequately ventilated area and protect surrounding surfaces from overspray. Spray from approximately 8–10 inches away using a back-and-forth motion. Allow sufficient time for the solvent to penetrate and soften the residue. For stubborn deposits, repeat the application if required. Once the chemical action is complete, remove softened material using a suitable scraper and clean the surface with solvent or water before allowing it to dry completely.

Important Safety Information

This is a highly flammable aerosol product. Use with adequate ventilation and keep away from heat, sparks, flames and other ignition sources. Wear suitable eye protection, PVC/rubber gloves and protective clothing during application. Do not puncture, crush, pressurize or incinerate the aerosol can. The product is not recommended for use on plastic, rubber or fiberglass.
